The Homeboys

So I didn't want to leave out the boys so I will be enlisting the dudes that I'm kinda tight with and all that jazz. And if you didn't make it on this list.. sad times dude but I still love yaaaa hahaa.

Okay to start off with I'll begin with... (drum roll)

This dude I've known for I don't even know how long now but it seems for a long time. Well anyway he's one of my besties' brothers (not the one I dated lol) but he's the original one I met. So basically this guy is absolutely awesome and I would so say he's my older brother and the best guy I've ever met :'). He's so funny and kind and just a great bro! And he also lets me cling onto him when I need a cuddle which most don't hahaha. One funny fact is I always thought you were forever 21 for some odd reason until your birthday came and I actually realised you were older LOL! Shows how much I pay attention. Anyway I've got much love for this hermano and ladies he's so frickin handsome right?! So jump on the band wagon hahah ;)
Favourite thing about you: You're super sweet, genuine and sensitive. WHY YOU SO SENSITIVE??? (Imagine valley girl voice)

 
Up next is this the famous Mr perfect ^_^ Yes soak it in and just take that nearly everyone thinks you're perfect haha. Anyway this dude is amazing! Okay so I kinda grew up with him but to tell the truth I don't actually remember you pre-mission :/.. I have a really bad memory but what little I do remember was that you looked after the youth boys and I really admired you for that. But now you're back I can actually say that you're such a good person and a great role model. Every time you say something mildly spiritual it's like o_0 woooww hahaha yeah you're like a bishop to me at times haha. But I'm so glad that we're friends and you're one of the closest guy friends I have so thank you for all that you do ^_^
Favourite thing about you: When you belt out a song and your deep voice of authority haha :D

This next hottie is one of the others that I grew up with. But I never actually knew him pre-mission because we just never talked or anything lol. In fact I thought all these years that you were a mute and you hated me at the same time because he was so cool with my friends and joked around with them but not me :? Booooo! But it's okay cuz I think I was more annoying than I am now so I can understand. But I don't think you hate me any more haha well I hope not :/ (that would be awkward LOL). But yeah now I actually know you're not a mute I find you hilarious and you're so nice! N'aww. I'm so happy we're finally friends and you're so cool and help people which is so nice :) You're just so nice ain't you ;)
My favourite thing about you : You have pretty eyes, you smell nice and you pay attention to what people say :)


So last but not least is this dude or as we call him hubsy haha. Man we've had crazy times right?! Haha! Well    mi marido moved into our ward after his mission and we didn't talk until we went to the temple which was like 2 months after he came back.. Yeah I feel bad :/ But I started talking to him when I discovered how hilarious he is and instantly we were homies from then. And now you will never escape my friendship mwahhahaha :p. But yeah this guy is crazy cool and he's just awesome! So legit (your fav word haha). Awww the best moment I had with you is when you said you consider me as one of your best friends in blah blah!! Even though I had my tough face on, inside I was feeling like a little girl that's received one of those big lollie pops that you see on T.V!! ^_^ Ahhhhh girl moment now.. And don't worry you are the hottest out of the bunch haha ;) And I mean it not just saying <3

So just a message to y'all!! You men are amazing all of you and each of you have taught me something in the time we've known each other and I really appreciate everything you do. So this post is about my fwenddssss awww :D! So I'll start with my oldest bestie
 
This chic I've known for YEAAARRRSSS!! How we met is at church but I don't really remember how exactly but we didn't exactly hit it off to start with. I didn't like her because I thought she didn't like me for some reason and it was kinda like that for a couple of years. But we eventually became friends through our parents really and ohhh the wierdest thing is BOTH our parents are called Monica and Joseph, but my mum's name is spelt Monicca. But yeah it's funny that way.
Yeah so we became really close during the years to the point where I'd be staying at hers normally on the weekends or during the week days because we lived/live so close but now she's in University so I don't see herrrr... :'( but we have our skype calls and text eachother etc so it's all good in the hhooooddd! And we're still tight even though she's away. But she's fantastic though, she's the one to snap me out of things and her humor is soooooo funny when you get it. Only when you get it though otherwise you might think she's just mean but nah she's an amazing person and I wish I was more like her. She's so smart and just focused on the right things in life and she can cook and shares food with me from her plate hahahahah (I know you hate that!). But yeah she's soooooooo chill it's like being in a fridge when I'm around her haha! Loveeeee you bunchesssss HOTTIIIEEE WIT A BODYYY!! ^_^
Favourite thing about you: When you don't have crap from people and argue back. It's hilariousssssss to watch because you shut the other person up and I end up feeling grateful I'm not that person hahahaha!



This next beauty is my Bff's sister and she's AWWWEESSOOOMMEEE!! She's like an older sister I've never had and so wise. She's mostly right about things but not everthang :p. But yeah I couldn't have asked for someone in my life like her it's like she knows all so she's great when you're unbalanced. But I met her in the same way as her sister but I think I liked her from the beginning hahaha!
My favourite moments are when we have our little special cuddle times haha :p or when I end up spooning you in bed hahaha!! Yeah I'm a bad sleeper.. But anyways she's amazing and gawjussss and her Badonkadonk is ridiculous ;) Lovvvveee you babbbeeessss!!! :D

You know when you have that friend who's annoyingly hawt, well this is her :D You lil foxy lady hahah :p But yeah the way we ended up fiends is when she and her family came to our church as investigators and got baptised not long after being there. Apparently I was mean to her at first but honestly I can't remember, I thought I was always nice to her haha. But we became tight over time and I ended up dating one of her bro's and it became awkward between he and I after we broke up but with me and my girl over here it was still jolly :D. I thoroughly enjoy our talks, especially at sleep overs when we're always the last ones to sleep because we're talking about boys hahaha. She's actually my love guru!! I will call you that from now on hehehe :p. But she's fantastic baby and such a hard worker, kind heart and such a great house wife to be so snatch her if you can dudes!! She'd make you fat with her good recipes ;) But don't marry her until I get back because I want to be there for the wedding haha :p But yeah lovvveee youu heappssss!!!! xxx

Isn't she soooo pwettyyy!!!!! Okay so this is my lammbbbyy cuz she's sooo cute!! I met her at camp and I don't really remember much of our friendship but I do remember thinking she didn't like me but that's when I didn't understand her humour. Oh what can I say about this little lamby.. Well she's an amazing friend and she's so gentle like she doesn't believe in fighting LOOOL! So opposite of me :p But I enjoy spending time with her as she's so funny and we have our chatting time where we exchange info which we lovee haha. Also I love our lets think about .... moment hahah!!!!! You know what I'm talking about aha!
I also admire the fact that you wear your Young Womens' medallion and wish I still had mine (I lost it at EFY weeeeehhhh) but you're so spiritual and G'd up at the same time, which is an art because not many people can do it like you schnumcums :*
Favourite thing about you: When you tell me to shut up or when you laugh at me and then say I'm stupid. ( sounds bad but it's all humour)


Let's hear all the boys whistle :* hahaha. This is my Spanish homieeee :D. We became friends with her when she came freshly from Spain and we tried talking in Spanish to her so she'd feel part of the famooo and it worked YAAAAAYYYYY hahaha. This girl is sooo funny when you get to know her and the best part is when she starts laughing cuz it's contagious haha. We also all love to try to imitate her accent because it so cool and Spanish :p. I love it when you say shut up too it doesn't sound mean cuz of your accent :D. But yeah I love this chic and her hair too it always looks perfecto ;) So happy we've become so tight you spicy Spanish chicana haha. Te Quiero mucha guapppaaaaaa <3

Oi oi beauty ;) This is my fellow sister wife hahaha (inside joke). I've known her for like under 10 month or so but mayn we hit it like a house on fire haha :D Ahhhh this chic is amazeeee and it's like we've known eachother before cuz of our crazy similarities like how we're both 1/16 opposite of eachother and our crazy situations and everythang.. Mayn I bet we knew eachother before coming to Earth lol. But yeah for a convert she's got such a strong testimony and would be a fantastic sister missionary. We met through the sisters and became friends over time. Now we're companion study partners YAAAYYYY we shall prepare!! But yeah love you chicken and love spending time with you just laughing about craziness and being crazy haha!
Favourite thing about you: You're a therapist and also an undercover fellow crazy haha :D


Okay so this is me now talking to all y'all. Girlies I'm gonna miss all of you heaps when I go!! You don't even know how much!! I would consider all of you my sisters no matter what and all y'all are my bridesmaids when I get married ^_^. You are all what a girl could want as friends and beyond and all so friggin HAWWTTTT so please do try to wait until I come back for your weddings :D Maynn I cannot express how much I appreciate each one of you, there's not enough words that I could use to express my feeling (ugh I sound like such a girl hahaha). But yeah love you alllllllll and whenever you feel the emptiness of not having your crazy friend there just read this and remember the good times :D

Craziness and more craziness :D

Preparation!

Soooo from like 3 years ago I made up my mind that I wanted to serve a mission and this was before I even prayed about it. I wanted to share the gospel at first because it brought me so much happiness in my life. So it came a time in the Spring/Summer of 2012 that I started to help sister missionaries by going on teaches with them and I honestly loved it. It was the simple fact that I felt the Spirit so strongly that I constantly wanted to go out with them. It started our with going out with Sister Sebald and Sister Casasola and the Sister Sebald got transferred then Sister Cubova came and I continued until I had to go back to school.
It was so much going out on teaches and knocking with the Sisters as we'd be walking and sometimes singing and other things. I even did 2 days with Sister Cubova and Casasola which I spend the day in the life of a sister missionary which was interesting. I learnt that on your mission you'd pray a lot during the day and during study times and also that you should try to change up the day routines. But I also attended one District meeting which was amazzzeee! Just soo interesting and a little taste of things to come.
So yeah I spent time with the sisters and told them I'm thinking of serving a mission and Sister Sebald referred me to Doctrine and Covenants Chapter 4 v.3 Therefore, if ye have desires to serve God ye are ^acalled to the work;
After reading this verse, I went home then prayed about it then something told me to read my patriachal blessing so I did and the BAM I got my answer :)

So now what am I doing? I am trying to prepare myself by trying to learn the gospel as much as I can. And now I have a "companion" who wants to learn more about the gospel too so we have companion studies which we've had like twice but kinda struggling still because we don't really know what we're doing but luckily we have RM friends who have offered their services to be our trainee :) (David). So hopefully we'll get better at it and get the wheel going ^_^. Me and my companion  This chic has been in the church now for just a lil over 6 months and the progress she's made such a massive amount of progress. I will go into the details of her on my besties post that is due. But anyway yeah she's amazing and we've become really good friends :D And she was taught by the ladies above and I came along on like maybe 2 teaches or something.. and then baptised. She'd make such a wonderful missionary as she has such a strong testimony and I personally think she'd better relate to investigators as she was one.

So yeah I want to keep trying to be prepared to enter the mission field and before that the temple so I can take out my own endowment :) And an endowment means:  A special spiritual blessing given to worthy and faithful members of the Church in the temple.
For you non Mormons: "Temples are literally houses of the Lord. They are holy places of worship where individuals make sacred covenants with God. Because making covenants with God is such a solemn responsibility, individuals cannot enter the temple to receive their endowments or be sealed inmarriage for eternity until they have fully prepared themselves and been members of the Church for at least a year. Throughout history, the Lord has commanded His people to build temples. The Church is working to build temples all over the world to make temple blessings more available for a greater number of Heavenly Father's children." From Lds.org 
And an endowment is: "A special spiritual blessing given to worthy and faithful members of the Church in the temple."

Testimony moment

So as I've stated in the about me bit of my profile, I am a Mormon. Really I should state that I am from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (LDS), but many people just call us Mormons which is cool by me So I have been Mormon ever since I was 9 (when I was baptised) and I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't aways the 100% Mormon before I turned 16 but I think I already knew in my heart that this lifestyle is better than the alternative. It helped that I had friends in church too which kept me coming, especially my best friend who is amazeee!!  And isn't she gawjj guys ^^ hehe. But yeah it helped to have good friends in my earlier years or the Pre-testimonial days. But now I have a good group of besties which I will cover in another post. Which I'd probably call My mormona friends (Mormona because I'm trying to feminise it lol).
But yeah anyway back to the subject.. So I'll just fast foward to the 16th year on this Earth. So I enrolled myself to this convention type week long program called EFY which stands for Especially for youth. And it's basically a week long well 5-6 days of spiritual lessons of the Gospel and also sooooo much fun!!! It's awesome!! I mean the lessons were sooooo good and then you had the activities like making up cheers, dances and other awesome things. And don't forget the food!! At the Canterbury EFY session the food was always good hmmm :). You also had the opportunity to make loads of friends as there were tons of people and I mean like probably 800 or something or even more. But the down side of it was the early mornings but it was okay apart from that.Our cheer :)

Okay so when did my testimony time come? It was when we were having our testimony meeting fireside and all week long I just wanted to know if this was the path for me and if it was all true and I remember just sitting there on my seat, and all of a sudden this sweet, warm burning like a fire feeling just took over my great and trust me it was a massive surprise as I had never felt anything like it before.  When I say burning I don't mean it as it was painful, it was ugghhhh I can't really explain it really. I just had an overwhelming feeling of the Holy Spirit and from then I knew it was all true and I went up and bore my testimony and that was it for me. There was no going back from there. I started reading my scriptures every night and left the pre-testimonial habits behind and since then just tried to be the best I can.  “Behold, I will tell you in your mind and in your heart, by the Holy Ghost, which shall come upon you and which shall dwell in your heart” (D&C 8:2).
That year was truly a sweet 16 for sure!
